Since garnering an international audience in the days of maestros Ustad Vilayat Khan and Pandit Ravi Shankar, the sound of the Sitar has captivated the world. This is an opportunity to witness a performance from one of the instrument’s modern masters. Accompanied by Tabla and Jori player Sukhvinder Singh, Kumar unravels moving ragas with his signature style of fluid melody, bent notes and flurries of virtuosic improvisation.
