SUMMARY:40th Gunidas Sangeet Sammelan
DESCRIPTION:The 40th edition of Gunidas Sangeet Sammelan will have an impressive line-up of doyens from the world of Hindustani classical music. Pt Satish Vyas father Pandit CR Vyas started the Gunidas Sangeet Sammelan in 1977 under the aegis of the charitable trust Maharashtra Lalit Kala Nidhi (MLKN). This annual festival commemorates the late Agra gharana legend\, Jagannath Buwa Purohit. Buwa was not only a great performer but was also an acclaimed guru and composer who composed several ragas\, bandishes under the pseudonym Gunidas; from where the festival draws its name. \n  \nOn Saturday\, December 3\, the third day of the Sammelan will begin with the santoor recital of by Pt Satish Vyas who will be accompanied on tabla by Sukhvinder Singh Pinky. \n  \nFor Further event details please follow Link
